Gobblers

I always look at birds and picture dinosaurs moving around the same way, especially when looking at turkeys. The way they are low to ground moving slowly and cautiously head jutting this way and that, its like looking into the past. During the fall I wanted to do a turkey piece with a prehistoric feeling to it. Especially with all the hype about feathered dinosaurs, and being close to Thanksgiving I went ahead. A month later National Geographic put out a small article about Turkeys being descendants of Raptors, and I thought what the fuck I'm no scientist but that's pretty cool. Anyways I hope that feeling comes across. I wanted to mess around with light a little bit with the figure in the foreground in shadow and the others lit, to give a feeling of the one up front sorta threatening the others.
